Naruto Episode 1 is the beginning of the series. This extended feature introduces Naruto and the world he lives in. After failing to pass the ninja exams, he is tricked into stealing a precious forbidden scroll. He learns the Shadow Replication technique from the scroll and uses it to create an army of clones to defeat Mizuki. This marks his first step from an outcast orphan to a real ninja who is accepted by the village.
